Announcing Welcome to my Homepage’s Upcoming Residents

Welcome to our incoming residents! These artists will each be creating browser-based projects during 3-week digital residencies, happening in August through Oct 2026. Projects will be announced monthly, and you’ll be able to catch them in-person at The Museum of Human Achievement during the Austin Studio Tour in November 2026.

August 2026

Xia Garcia is a Texas-based new media artist whose work embraces the weird corners of the internet. Influenced by their fascination with early internet aesthetics, contemporary online culture, and a personal history of recurring nightmares, they create video, interactive experiences, and installations that invite viewers to linger in the amalgam of strange that the digital world encompasses.

September 2026

Amy Chiao is a multimedia artist, performer, and designer working in site-specific performance, installation, collage, and video. From Cerritos, California, Chiao comes from a family of Cantonese musicians and composers, Opera singers, and mannequin manufacturers. Her work strives to uncover the fictitious nature of society through dramaturgy, narratology, and speculative design.

October 2026

Randy Culp (aka Rosalind Hussell) is an Austin based multimedia performance artist and digital creator. After discovering Austin’s subversive drag scene, they developed Rosalind Hussell as a vehicle for experimental storytelling across drag, video, and digital art. Their practice weaves together obscure music, performance, and the language of short-form digital media into layered, curiosity-led works that prioritize depth over virality.
